How to Write a small code in SAP HANA?

HI,

I am so much interested in SAP HANA ..but I am totally new to this side .. 

I read all papers on HANA (all ieee papers and INTERNET information too) .Theoretically I know HANA ,

but wants to taste by practically . 

Please can somebody tell me the steps to write a small code on this ?? 

What tool is required...whether tool is free ...how can I use this tool ... 

Please do the needful and guide me .

Hi Ashvini,

This blog is of great help. I suggest you read it first and then you can have a general idea.

Based on my own learning experience, I also suggest you can watch OPENSAP online courses and follow the course to practice step by step.

All the tools and environment you need have been introduced both in the blogs and the online course.

(Basically, I think you need to have HANA Studio which can be downloaded from HANA Developer Center and you also need to have access to one HANA Database, you can get instructions from below or you can also see this blog )

Just try and develop your "Hello World" in HANA.

If you have any question, SCN would be really helpful.

Do some search here and you will find the solutions.
