Component description during NC-code logging

Hi,

Is there any possibility to show the component description to the operator during NC-code logging?

I have managed to show the manufactured item description in the NC Data Tree, but I am looking to
show the description for the actual component that you log an NC code for.

Hi Johan,

No, DESCRIPTION column exists for ASSEMBLY list category, but not for NC_TREE list category.

Maybe you might use Component List plug-in which can show Component Description by means of DESCRIPTION column.

Hi Sergiy,

Do you mean that I should change the POD and add Component List? Already the screen is kind of filled with a lot of information when logging NC's, so an additonal plug-in would just make the POD impossible to use.

Yes, that was my idea, but of cause this workaround is not a completely valid solution for your issue.

Hi Sergiy,

I will skip the idea for now and tell our operators that this currently is not able to do
during NC code logging.
