I'm a basis guy and I was contacted by my PI guy because he cannot setup message or sequence monitoring in SOAMANAGER.
Here gets a Service cannot be reached and a error code 403 for reason forbidden.
I get the same issue when testing.
I'm trying to determine if I am missing a service activation or is it authorization.
I can run TCODE SXI_MONITOR from ABAP and see the screen
When calling it from SOAMANAGER, i get an error.
My URL looks the following
http://sd01cudb0014.omega.dce-eir.net:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=SXI_MONITOR
What am I missing??
I resolved the issue.
Thanks for the helpful tips.
It lead to me check my WEBGUI setup and in the end my client wasnt activated in /nsicf_sessions

I should mention this is in the ERP system. The screen shots show that its enabled. I can loauch SOAMANAGER, then on monitoring either clicking on message or sequence i get an error.
yet from ABAP, if I call TCODE sxi_monitor or SRT_SEQ_MONITOR, i can acces it. So its not authorizations, its something web related

Hi Joshua - You need to activate the service
/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/appl_soap_management in SICF transaction.
However you can also try the below..
Go to NWA(http://host:port/nwa) -> you should be able to see a separate tab for SOA(may be > NW 7.3)
