Installing SMP 3.0 on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10

Hello,

Trying to install SMP 3.0 on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 and got a pop up warning asking to create a software repository? Any idea what is the value of that entry?

Hi Fouad,

   So when exactly do you get this popup?  You said you after the install validation.  Does it pop up during the running of the install script or after the installation completes?  That pop up is a Linux window.  I'm not sure but I'm guessing it is because you are using SUSE Linux 10.  According to the PAM for 3.0 only SUSE Linux 11 is supported.  Check it out at http://service.sap.com/PAM

I had to go with the version 11 to get the installation moving beyond that issue.

Since I m using these parameters:

-V derbyDB="true"

-V existDB="false"

There is no prep in these docs for a Dev installation.

After the install verification I get the attached sc,

What should be added there?
