All,
is there a standard way to distribute Contracts / Scheduling Agreements based on a SRM GOA (Release 4.0 as well 5.0) without maintaining the corresponding Doc Types (GCTR) in R/3? Client expects that the standard R/3 Doc Types (LPA / MK, WK) are linked to a SRM GOA.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
Thanks,
Claudia
Hi Claudia
Try this.
1) Create all those doc types as GOA doc types in SRM.
2) Create GOA with the doc type as you want in SRM. Normally, the distribution tries to transfer to R/3 with same doc type.

Hi Ramki,
thanks for feedback! Yes, with that way it is working.
Where I am curious is, the following:
Create a SRM GOA and define in the distribution that the target object is a
Scheduling Agreement. In SRM the Doc Type GCTR is maintained, but not in R/3.
Only the number ranges are syncronized. Nevertheless, the system automatically
derives the Doc Type "LPA" and creates an LPA in R/3 with the external number.
It seems, that the BBP_CTR Standard BADI applies Doc Type "PCTR" for
Contracts, but LPA for Scheduling Agreements.
Is that valid? Could you confirm or explain further?
Thanks,
Claudia
