Update Change Manager via BRF+

Hello,

we have the following problem and we hope someone can help us.

We determine the change manager via BRF+ depending on which category is selected in den request for change. This works very well.

The problem is if you choose a category, the change manager is set after saving. Now you edit the RfC and choose an other category the change manager field wasn’t updated. You have to clear it manually and then BRF+ is able to set the new change manager.

Is there any possibility to update the change manager field or to clear the change manager field first and after that set the new

change manager with BRF+?

Or maybe someone has a completely different idea how to do it?

Ok. We solved the problem with a combination of an badi implementation and the brf+ rule.
