workprocess die ofter sap system start

Hi experts,

    When i start the sap MMC All work processes die right after the instance is started.

    The SAP MMC shows work processes with status "ended".

     Only one work process shows status "wait". What is the reason Please help me.

Can you attach the work-process error log(Developer Trace) by right clicking on that in MMC level.

i checked in st22 dump error at the time showing pxa_no_shared memory.

What is the reason can you help me.

and also you have to share your log files (dev_disp & dev_w0) then only we can able to provide solution

PXA no shared memory:

In current kernel versions address space fragmentation is no longer a problem.

PXA (Program Execution Area - controlled by abap/buffersize) is the last shared memory segment which is allocated during startup of an system. The typical size of this segment varies between 0.5 and 2 GB.

If there is not enough free memory (physical or virtual) creation of this buffer will fail.

This error is also typical when using System Managed Pagefiles which do not expand fast enough to satisfy your allocation requests (at least not when trying to allocate 1 or 2 GB).
