Fiori: Launchpad: Configuration of tiles

Hello all,

I used to setup Fiori with the launchpage.

However for wave2 it's needed to use the launchpad.

I'm wondering how to configure the launchpad correctly to have all the configured wave 1+ 2 apps available for my user.

Is there anyone who can help me with this topic?

I already assigned the roles => I'm able to do the configuration via http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html?sap-client=<client>?scope...
There I can see some tiles and applications.

However when I want to start http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html?sap-client=<...
and use these I can not find any tile...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tim,

Please try this 2 steps.

1. System admin should assign business roles to business users.

    Role names are documented in help.sap.com.

    For ex, Implementation Information for My Leave Requests - SAP Fiori for SAP ERP 1.0 - SAP Library

2. Business user can open catalogs by clicking left top of Launchpad and select tiles from catalog.

Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response:

I'm not clear what I should do with these roles:

(I can not find them in PFCG, thus not assign them to my user)

Business Role

SAP_HCM_BCR_EMPLOYEE_X1

Business Catalog

SAP_HCM_BC_EMPLOYEE_X1

Business Catalog Group

SAP_HCM_BCG_EMPLOYEE_X1

I have assigned all Catalogs however to my user and additionally I have assigned roles: SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700; SAP_UI2_USER_700; SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_CONFIG; SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_CUST; SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_PERS

+ the roles previously used to work with the launchpage.


For the second point:

As you can see the search does not return any tiles. (that is the problem)

Hi Tim,

If there is no role, it means you have not installed new UI add-on.

Please look at this and install new UI.
