Hi Colleagues,

In AGS Activity Monitor running on Web Dynpro UI, when pressing F4 help in field Sales Organization or Service Organization, there is a view table popped up as below. Do you know how to find this view table?

Kind Regards

Andie

Hi,

Looks like it's a DDIC/OVS value help! First right click on Sales Organization Input field and click on More Field Help -> Technical Help. Then you can see the component name and view name.

Go to that View, then find the attribute to which the Sales Org Input is bound.. Then in the Context, for that attributes you can see under properties, Whether it's a DDIC/ OVS help.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Kiran

Hi Andie,

You can find the search help associated with the field as below

  • Right click on field and choose "Technical help" from the menu
  • a dialog box appears and go to "View & view Elements" & scroll down to see the value help attached to the field as below

Now, based on value help type and value help you can check out the logic/tables associted with it.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Andie,

Please follow the below steps

  •      Go to t-code SE11
  • Choose search help option and enter ZS_WD_BUPA and click on display button
  • Now, you can see the tables used for this search help and also you can find the search help exit if any

Hope this helps you.

Hi Andie,

Here there are no tables linked directly but the logic is written inside the search help exit.

Pls double click on search help to see logic.

As Rama said,

normally you can find the Search Method by doubleklicking the Field - in my sample TCURC.

When you doubleklick the value beneath "search help exit" here you can find the code, that provides the searchhelp-content.
