Logon issue, unable to connect Netweaver AS JAVA via URL

As the installation guide indicates to use URL "http://<hostname>:5<Instance no.>00" to logon the system.

The system is up and running, is there any addtional config?

How to logon the system?

Hi Ashutosh,

Yes, that is the right one, i came to the start page using "50000".

But met a 403 Forbidden thing while i press SAP Netweaver Administrator.

It says that seems i have to check note 1451753.

Thank u.

Hi Spencer,

To Resolve the above error , follow the below steps.

1. Logon to the SAP Server

2. go to the directory usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile

3. open the DEFAULT.PFL and comment the parameter means put a # before the icm/HTTP/mod_0

4. Take a restart of SAP system.

It will work fine for you.

Hi Ashutosh,

yes, the note says to reset some parameter in the end rule file.

What you told me is directly to comment out the check, more simple.(i hate notes, but have to work with them)

Kind of you, thank you again, have a good day!

Hi Spencer,

Since it is a java stack only , so there will be no user like DDIC and SAP* at database level.

SAP* user is a kernel level user (which means hardcoded at kernel level) which is used in emergency situation.

J2EE_ADMIN user is present in DUAL stack since you having a java stack only then it that case you will have administrator user.

I know the default password for DDIC , SAP* and EARLYWATCH users but not for administrator.

You can check with  default password such as 06071992 and 19920607(not sure)
