Afaria - Exchange Policy Overwrite

Hello,

I would like to know how Afaria can overwrite an Exchange configuration in iOS devices.

I have many devices that already had Exchange configured in iOS but I need overwrite this configuration using an Afaria policy. When I created a policy using the same domain, that was in used in Exchange configuration in device, the policy was not applied.

How Afaria can do this or delete an Exchange Configuration?

It isn't possible for any MDM system to override Exchange settings on an iOS device. It's also not possible to install two exchange profiles with the same servername and username (identical profiles)

Hi Lucas,

to be on the safe side: The Exchange configurations which are to be replaced should be deleted before installing the new ones. Also make sure that your Exchange Server does not enforce any device policies, as they might conflict with Afaria's.
