Blocking of Materials (FG) at Delivery, instead of Sales Order.

I want to know the config settings for activating block ( reservation) of Finished goods not at sales order Level, but at Delivery level i.e. if there is 10 quantity availlable for a Finished good, and a sales order is raised for 6 quantity, it should not get blocked at this stage ( standard SAP config settings), but at the time when a delivery is made of that sales order.

If the 6 quantity of material is blocked against this sales order, and a new customer asking for 10 quantity comes in, the user wants to deliver the goods after looking into the orders, and would like to give the material who want the entire stock.

HI

Create the reasons for blocking delivery at IMG-Logistics execution-Shipping- Define reasons for blocking in shipping.

Create a new type reason and tick in the field of conf.

you assign this reason to the sales order at delivery block field and save.

Go to change mode of sales order and check schedule lines. The system shows that no qty confirmed.

Once remove the block, the system automatically confirm the plant stock as per availability check.

Hi,

What you can do is you can block the delivery ,IMG > Logistic Execution>Shpping>Delivery >Define reasons for blocking the shipping

PGI Block >for this you can block check 'spw'check box (which will help you to block the PGI )and then assign this block in the delivery header>administration tab
