Hi all

I am following the example application of flight get list in web dynpro for java.

prior to proceeding to creating a model or importing one, it is said there to do the SLD connection.

apart from the fact that the SLD consists of all the logical systems,i am unable to clearly know the purpose that SLD server connectivity serves..

pls help

thanks in advance

Hi,

SLD is a System Landscape directory.

SLD is the central information repository for your system landscape. It contains information about technical systems, landscapes, business systems, products, and software components in your system landscape. You can view and manage this information in the SLD.

u can gothru this link u can get some thing.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/43/01ea90ab24235de10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm

How to configure the R/3 system as technical system into portal is follows.

U need to add some properties in VA.

Then only it will works.

U can goto the VA and in SLD data supplier add some properties like this.

1)HTTP settings: host = poratl host , port=50000 ,user = portal username , pwd=give thepwd.

2)RFC settings : Gateway host= poratl host and Gatewayservice=sapgw00

3)CIM client generation settings :host and port are the same as above and user and PWD same above

After this u need to check the Cimclicnt and that shows success.

And finally u need to go to the SLD add ur r/3 system properties and and ip address and host name in the host file of ur windows.

and finally add message server host in the services file in ur windows.

then restart the server.

It might helps u.

Do u need any thing else post ur issues.

Thanks,

Lohi.
