GRC AC 10.0 Role Import function

Hi experts,

I'm trying to use the import role function in NWBC.

So I take "File from Desktop" for both role attribute source and role authorization source as below picture

I've tried to execute the mentioned t-code: /GRCPI/AC_ROLE_DNLD in backend system, but it doesn't work.

Do i need to modify any configuration in system to use this ?

If possible, could you please send me the template for Role Authorization Source ?

Many thanks.

Hi Toan,

Execute Tcode /N/GRCPI/AC_ROLE_DNLD

or

Go to SE38 and execute this program /GRCPI/GRIA_DNLDROLES

and donwload the roles data.

Hello Babu,

Thanks for your fast response.

I've tried but it says that program doesn't exist.

I'll tell you my scenario:

- I have 1 existing SAP system (let's call ABC), this system will NOT be connected to GRC, but i want to get all roles from ABC and import to GRC system to run the risk analysis.

- The purpose is my customer they only want to see the risk of their system without connecting to GRC.

How can i achieve this ?

Note: I'm using GRC 10 SP12

Thanks.

Hi Toan,

If the system is not connected to GRC, how will you run risk analysis? If you have GRC system why are you not connecting to your SAP system? Is there any special reason in doing so???

Can you please provide more details why you want to proceed in that way?

Regards,

Madhu.

Hi Babu,

- My customer, they want me to show them the risk in their existing system ==> that's why i want to export the roles from their system and import to my GRC for risk analysis.

- After they know about the risk, maybe they will decide to get GRC implementaion.

Anyway, do u know why the program doesn't exist in my system ?

Thanks.

Hi Toan,

Only if you have GRC plug-in on your target system you will have that program available.

Hi Toan,

You can connect one ABAP system to another using RFC connection.

But do you have GRC plug-in installed in your target system ? Please go to System -> Status and check it.

If you dont have GRC plug-in you can't see any of GRC programs in your target system.

Madhu.

Hi Babu,

You're correct. i've checked my plug-in in backend system.

Now i can use se38 --> program /GRCPI/GRIA_DNLDROLES to download the role data.

Many thanks and have a nice day
