role based authorization in initiative

Hi,

We can assign default authorization for role types in Projects. For example a the role PM can be assigned Admin auth and the person assigned to PM role gets admin role.

We want the same functionality in initiatives but it is not working. Has anyone tried DFM or any other method to solve this?

Thanks and Regards,

Anuradha

Hi Anuradha,

Thanks for the information.

We are not able to access this note, it says 'Document is not released'. Are you able to view this note.

Is this customer specific note?

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Just noticed your reply and checked the note again. Yes, it is pilot release, not sure why.

Also, it is available in German only.

Hi Anuradha,

for initiatives, you can create roles and assign to the initiative with ( admin, write or display) after this you assign this role to the users. if this role is assigned to the initiative with "admin" they will be admin for these initiatives.

Hi Clara,

Could you please clarify?

I have created  a role type with Admin auth. In the initiative I have created a role with this role type. But the user assigned to this role is not getting admin auth.

I did not find a place within initiative to assign auth to this role.

Thanks,

Anuradha
