Limit access for Catalog Administration and direct Application URL links

Hi,

Is there a way to limit a user from accessing the catalog administration for launchpad? We have not granted SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700 and only granted  SAP_UI2_LAUNCH_PAGE but the user can still access the admin page.

Also we are trying to limit access to a certain FIORI application. The user was not able to see the tiles for that app but he can still access it via direct URL of the application. Though he cannot see any data. Is this a standard behavior for FIORI?

Hi Melanie,

If you use old launchpage, please use new Launchpad.

Hi Masa,

We are using the old launchpage since our original plan was to go live last year. Anyway, I think when we deleted the menu items for catalog admin, it didn't delete the authorizations. I'll update again if this was really the solution.
