Hi Experts,

I'm trying to post the stock for the material.

But I'm getting this error.

AFS material not released in plant : goods movement not allowed

Message no. 8J630

How can I fix this issue???

Hi Pramod,

Is it standard material or AFS material ? Refer OSS note 512386 - Indicator set for AFS material by mistake

Hi Pramod,

I am not sure. Might be material is blocked for goods movement in inventory management. Check material master - MM02  Basic data- 1 view - Check if any key assigned  in the field  X-Plant Material Status, if so remove the key for doing the material posting .
