Live Cache Monitoring through Solution Manager 7.1 SP10

Hi All,

I am configuring monitoring for Live Cache through Solution Manager 7.1 SP10 .

I have a live cache running on the same host on which my SCM system is running. We have already configured the technical monitoring for our SCM system. But it doesn't include live cache in it. We have separately configured the LC managed system ( Systems type : SAP livecache ). It's all successful . Selecting the same we configured the technical monitoring for it also. In system monitoring, i can see the status it is capturing.

But in technical monitoring, reporting is not active. I don't get an option to select my live cache and enable reporting.

I checked . Alerting is not working for live cache .

Could you please help and let me know what I am doing wrong ?

Hi Manish,

Reporting option you only get for ABAP/JAVA systems.

For standalone products (TREX, Livecache, MDM etc)  or databases (Maxdb, livecache ) this option is not available.

This is standard and its not an error or problem. Hope it helps.

Hi Manish,

I don't have an answer to your question rather I would like to understand from the work you have done. I too am configuring the liveCache in Solman 7.1. In the Managed System Configuration it asks me to enter

Managed System

HTTPSCheck URL...

What RFC destination should I enter here.

My APO and liveCache runs on separate linux hosts.

Did you finally found what RFC destination you had to provide.

I actually encounter the same problem / lack of information.
