  Dear ghurus!

I want to switch on bufferezation for the  RF_BELEG object type. Please, tell me, how many numbers in buffer i should use for the parralel bufferization?

Watch out buffering of RF_BELEG is wot allowed in some countries for legal requirements.

FI serializes itself to number range object RF_BELEG.

However, you cannot allow buffering of object RF_BELEG because, as a result, document number gaps may arise and the document numbers may no longer be sorted chronologically.This is not allowed in some countries (listed below).

Hi,

For buffering, SAP suggests to have maximum value whatever you can.

Ideally interval "10" works better (But again depends on the parallel postings, you have).

Hi Albert,

There is no standard guideline to define how many numbers you can buffer. Many of the SAP note shared in the responses above will ask you set the number as 100.

You can take that as reference and proceed.

A small correction from myside. Buffer numbers should be higher than 1000

As per SAP note 37844 - Performance: document number assignment RF_BELEG

Yes I had already shared this SAP note earlier and it mentions to have numbers more than 1000 to avoid NRIV locks.

Thanks, but this is sap note describe local file with proc id buffering.
