Posting in Closed Reporting Periods

Hi gurus,

I have a doubt....do you know how it is possible to control the permissions to edit data posted in closed reporting periods?

Is this information saved in a table?

And how do you really control that user can´t change data in a closing period? Is it coming from an authorization object?? Or is it the default settings of the system?

Hi John,

There is Posting period concept. Once you close the period (say month or quarter) user can't change the data in closing period. OB52 is the Tcode for Posting periods.
