Using Status Report as Phase Approval Document (PDF Form)

Hi,

We are customizing the standard project status report (PDF form DPR_STATUS_REPORT_AIF). In the process of designing this form we also realized that we can use the exact same form for the phase approval document. I am wondering if the form can be be used as is by simply maintaining the form name in the phase type setting.

The form is not developed yet, so I tried to test by maintaining DPR_STATUS_REPORT_AIF as the "print form for approval doc" in the phase type, however, it did not work (got an error saying cannot start approval when clicking begin approval). Does anything additional need to be done to use the same status report form also as an approval doc?

This error is mostly related to ADS configuration.

Hi Ravi,

Thanks a lot for your response. I think ADS is working fine since the standard SAP delivered forms for approval and status report report. It is only when I attempt to use the status report form as the approval doc things do not work. Any ideas?
