It is possible, with some limitations. Refer links above for more details.

In my opinion, if SAP Script is complex, I wouldnt migrate it but create a totally new one using some preconfigured smartform. Because during migration you will certainly have some issues especially with printing program and sap script elements...

And in general, you should think what is the business benefit of using smarform in your business case. Is it really worth of all extra work?
