SAP TAO Front End Client

Hi,

Where can I find SAP TAO Front End Client in Market Place? I searched in Support Packages and Patches/ Installation Upgrades in SWDC and could not find anything under "T" . Also the search did not yield any relevant info. Pls help.

In  the guide it says,

1. Navigate to http://service.sap.com/swdc o Support Packages and Patches.

2. Search for SAP TAO 3.0.

3. Install SAP Test Acceleration and Optimization, using the standard Microsoft Windows installer (setup.exe).

The installation of a new version will reuse the customized settings, such as connections and options, from

the existing version.

4. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

5. Microsoft .net Framework 3.0 or higher is required on your local computer..

But nothing found by following above instruction.

As far as I can see from http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Components -> SAP Test Acceleration and Optimization

I don't think there is a specific TAO GUI / TAO front end client.

Thanks for the reply.

There has to be  a front end client for Tao, otherwise where do testers log in or record scripts on SAP GUI. I am talking about this;

I am not finding the installation files for this in marketplace?

Hi,

TAO does not seem to have any specific client but is using SAP existing UI.

Hi Yves,

This is just a compatibility matrix. In order to start working with Tao , we need a GUI to login. I am looking for the installation files of this GUI.

The SAP TAO client tool can be found at:

- http://service.sap.com/swdc

- Select "Support Package and Patches" on the left-hand side.

- Select "A - Z Index"

- Select "T" and then SAP TAO

- Navigate to SAP TAO 3.0

- Click the link named: "Comprised Software Component Versions" > "SAP

TEST ACCEL. AND. OPT. 3.0" > Win32
