Hi Experts,
We have a two weekly batch jobs in ECC & APO scheduled on Friday and Saturday.
First job (MRP)start @10:30 PM in ECC and it will be finish with in 20 to 30 mns.
Second job (PPDS)will start@02:30 AM in APO the morning and finished @4 AM.
There is too much time lag between these two jobs and this leads to some inconsistency in the both systems.
We are looking out for the possibility of an event tyriggering Job which will start the Job in APO after the Job in ECC is finished.
Regards,

Hello Prasad
Please make use of Remote Process Chain.
1. Create Process Chain in ECC (Transaction Code : RSPC). This process chain will contain only MRP step. Make a note of Technical name of the process chain.
2. Now create Process Chain in APO.
3. Add Remote Process Chain to include process chain created in Step#1. This is to trigger MRP Process in R3 system. Your variant will look something like below -
4. Add remaining steps(like PP/DS run etc) which you want to run after MRP in the same process chain. Remote Process Chain will be the predecessor for those steps which are added in the process chain.
Hope this will help.
Thank you

Hi prasad,
we can call a remote process of ECC in APO, while creating process chains you create a remote process chain, you connect both the jobs, either you can start the second job immeditely or you can delay it as required
in the remote process chain variant in destination you maintain ECC no eg ECCclnt100
in call in target system field you mention the program name and in destination for Calback field you maintain APO no eg. APOCLNT100
Thanks and regards
