Hi Mustafa,

You cannot get terminal details from SM12 transaction.

What you can do is as below

1) Double click the SM12 lock entry for which you need to get terminal data

2) Get Process ID from step1 and check the details in SM04/AL08 who has logged in and from which terminal in SM04/AL08 using the process ID.

Hope this helps.

Even easier than that is simply getting the username from SM12 and check the terminal on AL08.

Hi Juan,

Finding terminal ID using username may not work in places where User-IDs are shared.

If the user has many logins on different terminals and there isn't one entry for him in SM04?

If the user has multiple logins in different terminals is in breach of the SAP License Agreement

Hi Deepak

User ID's should NOT be shared... thats in direct breach of the License agreement

Hi Juan,

I am aware of EULA document. But there are customers who still shared IDs.

Sure they do... that doesn't mean that SCN discussions should include considerations for people that do what they shouldn't

In anycase whoever thinks is fooling EULA by sharing user-ids should know that multiple logons are recorded and reported to SAP by USMM/SLAW during system measurements.

Hello,

what do you mean by "terminal data"? Can you specify more, please?

If you want to export listed lock entries to the file or print them, use the menu "Lock Entry" in the top left corner.

Kind regards

I mean computer name for example.

Terminal at which the user is working.
