Daylight Saving Activity

Hi,

I am supporting both Australian and UK clients and supposed to carry out the daylight saving activity on April 6th.

Can someone tell me how many hours in IST AND from what time to what time in IST should I stop the servers for both Australian and UK based?

Hi Sai,

Ok , I understand that you are in INDIA, so if 5:30 PM evening in INDIA that for Australia it will be 11 PM in night the same DAY and for UK it will be 00:00 Hours for the same day.

i.e.. if it's exact 00:01 min in UK date 22/03/2014 then for India it will be evening 05:31 PM ( 17:31) and in Australia it will be 11:01 PM ( 23:01) for the same day.

Hi Sai,

Just to upadate you it also depends on where is your server located. Sydney might change with time change compare to any other state in Australia

UK is 5.30 hr behind India and

Australia has different timezone, and it depends on in which city is your servers are located. Refer Australia
