BI exception with class "BIBaseRuntimeException"

Dear experts

We upgraded from NW 7.00 to NW 7.4.
After applying the newest delta patches for Java, and trying to test Bex functionality we are getting the following error:
"Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/tc/ur/browser/BrowserDescriptor : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed"

The diagnostic tool displays a green status.
Both ABAP and Java are on NW 7.4 SP5.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Marian

We are on SP11 and get the same error.

We have a case open @sap and they say there will be a fix released (note 1995970)

No, we went from SP10 to SP11 for our SAP NW 7.3 Portal. We have also open up a OSS-message.

Hi Anton,

Your case is the same with us except that we were on sp9.

did you also experienced theme issue on chrome and firefox??? Decorative squares litter the detail navigation on chrome and firefox, but not in IE.
