Exception in FlightList App

Hi All,

I am building the FlightList Application.

I am getting the foll. exception when I am running the Application.

com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: 'WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST' not properly defined! Unable to create Metadata connection for Dictionary Provider. Either the logical System Name 'WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST' has not been properly defined in the System Landscape Directory, or you are not using a MsgServerDestination (AppServerDestinations are not permitted for Metadata connections)

I have created 2 logical system names

1. WD_FLIGHTLIST_MODELDATA_DEST

2. WD_FLIGHTLIST_RFC_METADATA_DEST

But in Jco connections I am getting WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST apart from the above 2.

Also, the exception says that "logical System Name 'WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST' has not been properly defined in the System Landscape Directory"

Can someone tell me what am I missing.

hi,

goto the dictionary of your web dynpro project and click on the name of model appearing in dictionary, check out its property and see the name of metadata it is refering . If it is the same what you have created in content administrator,

then

right click on your web dynpro project->properties->(from task pane)web dynpro references->(tab)Jco references

check out the Jcos your aplication using. If there it refers the wrong metadata connection , delete it.

You may need to go to content administrator to check the JCos references your application using.

hope it helps

regards,

abhijeet
