Deactivating UD

Hello Experts,

I have a client who wants to perform inspection in production and there are no issues.

The client wants to deactivate the Usage Decision function.

I've read the B.Practices for Inspection Lot Completion, as well as Results Recording and Basic Functions.

I do not see how to turn UD off in Customizing as well.

How would I do this?  Your assistance is appreciated.

You would typicaly set up an "Automatic UD".  (I'm assuming you still need inspection lots for recroding results).  You should find quite a bit of info on the net in the help files on this.

Basically, if all your characteristics are set up for auto valuation and the results all get enterred and are in spec, the lot gets processed automatically by the auto UD after results are recorded.

You can also choose in the material master setup to not post the stock to QI which allows sthe material to go right to unrestricted and be used even though the results and UD are not completed.
