Hi All,
I upgraded CRM 7.01 to EHP3 / NW 7.40.
But in System -> Status Component version is SAP System Component version is EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 and not SAP CRM ABAP 7.01 EHP3.
The upgrade was successfull and APPL component is at 7.40 04.
I need to correct SAP System Component version. This made some confusion for my college.
Is any body has the same problem.
Thanks for any help.
Hi Reza,

There is no problem in that.
SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3 is based on NW 7.4 AS
You may check the upgrade guide for CRM EHP3 section "Usage of Release Names"
Here is the screen shot from the guide.

Hello Reza
if you are checking the right system then this is strange. I would raise an OSS message have this clarified with the SAP support.
I know there is no EHP7 for CRM. Unfortunately I don't know why the system data is shown incorrectly in your CRM system.
Keep us updated on this issue once you get a reply from SAP.

Hello Reagan,
I will raise an OSS message for sap, and i will come back later,
There is explanation inn this note:
1743809 - system status of NetWeaver system is changed to SAP ECC6.0
each Add-On product version usually brings an own entry for this field and
overwrites an existing one.
We had add FINBASIS component 747 in upgrade and this add-on has EHP7 version !
Hello Reza
The SWFEATURE table shows that you have EHP3 for SAP CRM. Also you have FINBASIS component deployed in the system. In that case the SAP note 1743809 - system status of NetWeaver system is changed to SAP ECC6.0 is correct. As you have FINBASIS the system data was changed.

RB
Hi,
I have this answer from SAP. From:
1653411 - CVERS_TXT: Entry seems to be wrong
The field is solely for information purposes and has no effect on the system
behavior. Thus, you can ignore the entry. More meaningful are the entries in
tables PRDVERS and SWFEATURE which are currently not displayed in System ->
Status.
This note was mentioned in :
1743809 - system status of NetWeaver system is changed to SAP ECC6.0
Thanks for all reply.

Hi Reza,
SAP netweaver 7.40 can include add-on versions of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM 7.0 and SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 add-ons. Double check whether you have selected this EHP7 ERP 6 add-ons in stack file generation which you have used for upgrading process.
can you tell us the release of netweaver (NW 7.02/NW7.3/NW7.4) in source system EHP1 FOR SAP CRM 7.0.
regards
kartik

Hi Reza,
FINBASIS component was not initially present , But it is present after upgrade which is a part of ERP component as result text change from SAP CRM to SAP ERP.
But no functionality has been changed for CRM. CRM is ok.
Also you can raise a message with SAP regarding this and they will let you know the exact cause of this.
From the screenshot , It seems that before upgrade ,your system has more component than after upgrade

Hi Ashutosh,
I think you are right it is comeing from FINBASIS component 747 that is part of ERP 6.0 EHP7.
From Sunil Bujade note:
1743809 - system status of NetWeaver system is changed to SAP ECC6.0
each Add-On product version usually brings an own entry for this field and
overwrites an existing one.
I am going to ask SAP for more explanation.
Thanks all of you for help.
Reza
Hi Reza,
I have also faced one issue , that after upgrade most of the component has been deleted.
We have raised a message with SAP and SAP asked to restore the system and performed the upgrade from scratch but they didn't give the exact reason.
You better raise a message with SAP and they will come up with the solution.
Since it is a sandbox system and you can analyze the things properly before moving to production.
And also keep us updated , so that we can also know about the things
Former Member can you please provide your help on this.
