Reverse values manually transferred from AUC to AUC

Good Day,

Can anyone perhaps assist with the following, I'm quite new on the PS module:

AUC's were automatically created when WBS's were settled

Example:

WBSE/1 - AUC (1) created as investment measure

WBSE/1/1 - settled to higher level WBSE/1 amount: 1,346,500 ZAR

WBSE/1/2 - settled to lower level WBSE/1/3 amount: 227,100 ZAR

WBSE/1/3 - AUC (2) created as investment measure

So AUC (1) had a value of 1,346,500 ZAR and AUC (2) had a value of 227,100 ZAR. This happened in 2011.

In 2012 a user manually transferred the values of AUC (1) to AUC (2) through the following steps:

1. Transaction: AB01 (trans type 200)

cr AUC (1)

dt G/L acct 341501

2. Transaction: ABZON (trans type 100)

dt AUC (2)

cr G/L acct 341501

AUC (2) then had 2 transactions 116 (WBS element - value 227,100) and 100 (ABZON - 1,346,500).

AUC (1) has no value. Complete settlement was done and the value of 227,100 on AUC (2) was settled to the final Asset (69010000000).

The value of 1,346,500 that was manually transferred still remains on AUC (2).

I tried to do exactly the same thing the user did to transfer the value of 1,346,500 back to AUC (1), by also using AB01 and ABZON, but I'm not allowed, I get the following Error: "Asset is investment measure, transaction type not allowed".

When we tried to change the status of WBSE/1 to TECO/CLSD we get the following Error: "Asset under construction not completely credited". I assume it's because it's missing the settlement rule with the Final asset as the receiver. But the settlement rule that was created for the AUC on WBSE/1 has no value now, so when complete settlement has to be done there will be nothing to transfer to the final asset.

1. Is it at all possible to transfer the value from AUC (2) back to AUC (1), and how?

2. Can anyone suggest any solutions to the above scenario?

I'd really appreciate it.

Hi

If you are new to the PS module then I suggest that you talk to a PS consultant to sort this issue out.
