default trip schema

hello,

I facing an issue.. I have created two schema's (01 schema X, 02 schema Y),

On ESS when we are creating direct expense report, drop for selection is available 01,02 but when we have creating expense report after travel request, system is not showing any pop up for selection of schema. Directly goes to schema 02 in default)..

Any reason ?

Hi Muhammad,

Check the "Overlapping Trips" flag on the schema settings.  I believe that you can only create an expense report based on a travel request using a schema with this setting not checked.

So if one of your schemas allows overlapping trips and the other one doesn't not allow it, the system will default the schema which doesn't allow overlapping when creating a report based on travel request.
