Additional Status and Action

Hi All,

We are in middle of configuring CHaRM in solman 7.1 SP10.

landscape is DEV-->QA-->STG-->Prod. keeping this in mind two new status and actions were defined

Authorize for Staging and Import to Staging before the original (Authorize for Prod and Import for Prod).

All these tests are performed for Urgent Change.

Issue is, when status is changed to Successfully Tested (action confirm successfully tested is executed) transport is getting imported to STG.

where as we want it to be imported only while executing the action "Import to STG"

Where can I control this import ?

Hi SS,

You can do this way,

1. Rename "Confirm Successful Test" to "Import UC to Staging ".

2. Now you need a new user status that schedules this "Import to STG". Define a new user status, may be ""Ready for STG"  and when the urgent change is in this user status provide  a new action "Authorize for Staging".

In short;

And what "Actions"  should do when in a particular User status is maintained below; you could design the logic according to your need here

Hi SS,

if you are in SM7.1 SP10, you can use the latest import options like "Flexible Import Options: Status Driven Import" which allow status based import to PPRD. Check out.

Also, make sure you have maintained settings in SPRO below path for the relevant status
