Hello Basis Expert,

In our Production R/3 4.7 system one user is trying to run the report she is getting the error. The error is as follows.

"Error Occured Error Type OSERR_BCS Document Sent Sucessfully"

I have gone thru the SAP Note 1463160

As per the note the solution given is

Solution

Re-create the Broadcaster setting with an user that exists in the system.

To avoid this issue to happen, it is recommended to create Broadcaster settings with a generic user that will never be deleted from the system.

I would like to know what is "create Broadcaster settings with a generic user"

In that case you can apply the SAPGUI patch, Windows Updates &  then check the same report

Hi Sriram /  Basis Expert,

The user in on SAP GUI version 720 and patch level is 5.

Also now the user came back saying that even couple of other users are also facing the same issue. From the screen shot we could see that it is a Z program.

I think this could be an issue with the Z program so that we cant get our Abap team to look into it.

Please let me know your thoughts & inputs.

From SAP Service Market Place "On 9th of April 2013 support for SAP GUI for Windows 7.20 ended." I couldnt get SAP GUI 7.20 from Service Market Place.

Now we have SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 Core.

Hi Sriram & Basis Expert,

This issue is fixed.

As the Distribution List(DL) was deleted we had to rebuild it again. After rebuilding the DL the issue got fixed.
