Problem with Sybase IQ 15.4 settings

So I have a problem with Sybase IQ 15.4, I need to be able to change the RecursiveIterations settings and RecursiveIterationsNested setting they are set to a incorrect value. How can I change this setting if IQ dosnt let me? Please help thanks

Hi Alex,

These are catalog peroperties/counters related to SA, not IQ options.

In my 15.4 ESD4/Solaris test, I see

0,153,'RecursiveIterationsNested','Number of times recursive hash join used nested loop strategy',0

What do you mean "incorrect value" ?

Any related abnormal behaviour observed there ?

Alex,

I am confused.  As far as I know, these are counters, not options.  Also, they apply to the SQL Anywhere engine and are not updated for IQ operations.

What is it that you are trying to do?

Hi Alex,

You've posted in the SAP Applications on SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP ASE) group.  It sounds like your question is a pure IQ question that is more likley to receive an answer in the IQ space   I've asked the moderator to move your discussion there.
