Failed to activate SAP NetWeaver BI infoObject for dimension

Hi,

When copying environment shell or creating a dimension in BPC 10 we are getting 'Failed to activate SAP NetWeaver BI infoObject for dimension' error. We have not inculded those dimensions in model. That is just creating a dimension in an environment shell.

We tried activating it using 'UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT' but the error persists.

Hi.

I am facing the same problem here. I am trying to copy the environment. I initially thought it is back-end authorisation issue but after changing the authorisation, the same problem still occurs.

Hello,

Just check as any of the infoobject is locked. And if it is you need to run the attribute change run for the same in BW.

Hello,

1. To unlock the object: /SM12

2. To run attribute change run:

Use T code-RSA1 (in BW)...Click on Attribute Change Run as shown in screen shot

You will get below screen...Click on infoobject list button(marked red)...

Screen will open ----select the infoobject finding locked....Finally click on Execute button.
