Hello ,
i have created PO in SRM 5.O Version .
it is CREATED and done GR for 2 line items ...
Can edit and add 2 more line items ..
please let me know ..
thanks,
vinay
Hi Vinay,
Yes you can change the PO even if all the items have been fully confirmed, but you have to maintain the version management details, like reason for change of version. Then the PO will follow the approval process of the system.
Hope it helps.

Hello Vinay,
When you are changing the PO details and trying to save it, the system shows an error or a warning(based on your authorization), that the reason for change is not maintained. That can be maintained in the header of the PO(in the version tab).
The reason and Text details are to be filled. Click on F4 and select the reason and enter the text manually.
Hope it helps.

Hi Vinay,
Would like to add that the version control is not active in the standard system, it will just throw a warning message. But if its active, you have to provide the version details as mentioned in earlier message, otherwise it will not allow you to save the PO.
This setting can be changed in SPRO under the path
Supplier Relationship Management->Cross-Application Basic Settings->
Hope it helps.

Hi Vinay,
can you please help me understand your concerns:
Do you want to edit the PO from Portal?
or
Do you want to edit the PO from backend SRM system through program?
Regards,
Ashish
