SAP netweaver 7.4 abap on fiori

Hi Experts ,

We're planning to build fiori system before starting I think we need to install the SAP NETWEAVER 7.4 ABAP ?

Also gateway 2.0 is also a prerequisite  what I want to know is which s/w component do i need to select for installation of SAP netweaver  ABAP 7.4 .

Is Component 51045590 SAP NWAsABAP suite under NW7.4 in SMP is enough or shal i need to install any other components as well  gateway comes by default in nw7.4

Correct me if i'm wrong

Thanks for quick reply .

I have already referred above links but bit confused with the component selection .

Can you confirm after NW ABAP 7.4  installation we need to add-on UI 5 & fiori components .

Hi Mohan,

740 system has Gateway components and UI components as default installation.

You just need to install additional Fiori components.

• Please use new SAP Fiori Launchpad
• SAP Fiori - Add-on quick reference for transactional apps

If you are going to implement "Approve Requests" app, IW_PGW component is required.

I have Installed NW7.4 As you mentioned the components were installed by default .

Kindly advice on the Fiori components Media list .

And also do i need to update the patches of any components ?

I have read the fiori installation guide and prerequisites says to update the components of

GW_FND and SAP_UI etc ..

But it's bit confusing while downloading support packs kindly advise which one do I need to select according to the below screenshot .

Hi Mohan,

Your system is NetWeaver 740. You just need to check 2 components.

• SAP_GWFND SP06
• SAP_UI SP07
• IW_PGW SP05 (Optional: Only for Approve Requests)
