Schema error in NW 7.3

Hi All,

I am installing SAP EHP1 for NW 7.3 on SQL server 2008 R2. When I am trying to install I am getting the attached error on the step "Create/Modify Schema". I thought its a user permission and tried many ways but I am not getting solution.

Please let me know what is the issue?

Hi All,

I tried to stop the SQL agent and ran. I have passed through the step but again I stuck with the "create Secure connection". Please let me know how to proceed.

I followed "http://scn.sap.com/thread/3430126" and try to update jvm but even though I am getting the same error.

Please let me know how to go ahead?

Hi Prakash,

Are you working on Virtualized VM environment. If yes, please check with OS experts on the permissions issue.

Probably in windows event viewer or system logs you may get detailed information on the access issue and OS experts can help.

Hi Prakash,

Please share details of JVM error as earlier you mentioned you are getting error during db create.

Also check for relevant logs under windows event viewer.

HI Deepak,

I am getting error as "An error occurred while processing option SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > MS SQL Server > SAP Systems > Application Server Java > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step: Cannot create the secure store. SOLUTION: See output of log file SecureStoreCreate.log: Could not create the Java virtual machine..) ".

Sorry I can't able to attach img.

When i check the "SecureStoreCreate.log" file it is telling "Could not create the Java virtual machine".

When I check the event log

Hi Deepak,

Can you see this "http://scn.sap.com/thread/2092203". He is also facing the same issue.

But he was telling is the problem of JAVA_HOME. But I had already installed the dev server using the same files. Now trying for the QAA.

Could you kill earlier JRE processes running on the system.

un-install existing JVM setup (if any).

Take reboot and start the setup again.

Hi Deepak,

Killed the JVM and try to install again. I am getting the old error  "Create/Modify Schema".. This time I dont want to stop the agent and proceed.

Let me know is this because of user permission which not able to create .mdf files?

Can you share E:\Drive and provide full permission to your use id.

Hi Prakash,

Make sure that the account that the MSSQLServer service is running on, as well as SQLServerAgent, have the following user rights permissions: # Act as part of the operating system.

# Increase quotas.

# replace process level token.

# Log on as a batch job.

You can do this by means of Windows "Administrative Tools", for example to add "increase quotas" right:

=> "Local Security Settings"

=> "Local Policies"

=> "User Rights Assignment"

=> double click on "Increase quotas"

=> add the Windows account, which is used to run the SQL Server service

Created the Folder Manually. But it can't able to deploy the mdf file in that folder?

The user has Administrator rights. Let me know how to make a user permission for creating .mdf file?

I tried to create a database in SQL. Its created. I don't know what level of permission required to create a folder or mdf files in E drive. Please let me know. My user has the admin rights.

I tried to create folder manually but even though it cant able to create the mdf file.

From your information

You need to run the installation using Administrator user.
