File sender communication channel stop working

Hi Guru,

I have a file sender communication channel. It usually works good. But sometimes it just stop working. And In RWB, it shows no error. If I stop it and restart it in RWB, it immediately works again. This happens once a while. Any ideas?

Hi,

option 1--

Do some dummy changes and activate channel and try and perform cache refresh.

If still not working then  stop and restart SFTP service,if still no luck then restart JAVA stack

option 2

try to put timeout value in the channel.

Hi Yang - May be the channel might be getting locked.

Did you configure the timeout?

When you are in the process of investigating, have a look at the below SAP note using which you can receive the alerts if the channel stops polling

Hi,

I am re-open this incident cause the issue is still happening. I have applied the note 1808222 and set up the timeout under CC advance tab "Additional Parameters" as "pollTimeout = 200" (my polling interval is 300 seconds. But it still stopped working sometimes and shows no error in monitoring. I have stop and restart CC to make it work. Any ideas?
