hi,
When we search för SFC or SHOP_ORDER or Container Number in Packing report so the report don't show information about Parent Container. This field is empty.
and we need this information in the report. Is it some settings we need to do?
thank you
Regards
/Vian
Hi Vian,
The Parent Container is filled when you have packed SFC into a 1-st level container and then packed 1-st level container into a 2-nd level container. Then if you search for the 1-st level container, the parent container column will show the 2-nd level container.

Hi Sergiy,
how do you mean with 1-st level container???
in the pack/unpack session we have a Container and a container number creates below the Container. When the SFC packed, so each SFC is connected to a container number which have a container .
thus when I search for a SFC in Packing Report, the report may shows the Container and Container number.
I attached two files and want to see if the circled field (RED) should contains the same information? if the parent Container in the report is the same as Container (pack/unpack)?
thank you
Regards,
Vian
I meant the following:
1) in Container Maintenance, you create a container where you are going to pack SFCs - this is a 1-st level container;
2) in Container Maintenance, you create a container where you are going to the container numbers of the container from step #1 - this is a 2-nd level container;
3) in Packing activity, you create a container number of the 1-st level container, then add SFCs, and finally close this container number;
4) in Packing activity, you create a container number of the 2-st level container, then add the container number created at the step #3 into this new container number, and finally close this container number;
5) now if you search for the container number created at step #3, the parent container will be shown as the container number created at the step #4.

Hi Vian,
For my scenario, at the step #5 the report show a material packed into the container number of the 1-st level container in "Container Name/Material" column. This is as expected.
If you search for the container number of the 2-nd level, then "Container Name/Material" column shows the name of the 1-st level container that is packed into this 2-nd level container number.
This is for ME 6.1.4.9.

Sergiy
