Hi all,

i am installing a JAVA appliacation server on Linux SUSE11 with Sybase.

i got this error while performing Setup database server software.

This is the log i got:

Hi Rahikul,

i got through that, it is not related to installation dirtectory auyhority problem, but the installation file, the SUSE set a "Excute" permission button, after i mark "Allow executing file as program", it ran further.

Hi,

Share the java version on the system.If possible reinstall java .Also confirm are you performing this from scratch.This issue could be temp files under /tmp directory.So before execution once restart your full system.

Hi Spencer,

There is some problem with the SWPM itself. Download a different one and then try the insatllation.

Also paste the latest log from sapinst_dir
