error during start instance phase

Dear all,
I am getting an error during start instance phase of netweaver 7.0 installing.I am using windows server 2008 and mssql.
The error is "instance ecd\dvebmgs00 reached state shutdown after having state starting.giving up".I searched a lot but still error
is not solved.so please tell me how to solve this error.

Is your DB is up as it is not able to connect to Database.
Run R3trans -d with sidadm.Also check the below user

Issue seems to be with database. Please check if database is up and running and if user is not locked.
Further , check if you have installed latest kernel patch installed. The above issue might arise after new installation.

Check the profile parameter
dbs/mss/server = SAPDEV01\ECD
change it to
dbs/mss/server = :SAPDEV01\ECD (you need to add c : prefix before the server name.)
Also checked the below parameter in your system and sap note
dbs/mss/schema = ecd
dbs/mss/dbname = ECD

Also run the R3trans -d and paste the output

From above error we can say that there is some password mismatch
please try to connect with user "SAPServiceECD" from O.S level.
also please try to reset it.

Just check following thing.
1) make sure database is running and it service too in service.msc
2) In service file entry is present SAPDEV01 3600 tcp/ip
3) upgrade kernal to latest patch.
4) check following entry in host_profile that SAPDEV01\SAPServiceECD present in that.
path for host_profile is c/programfile/sap/hostcntl/exe/host_profile
service/admin_users = SAPDEV01\SAPServiceECD
