SAP Control Center Login Failed

Hi Experts,

I am using SMP 2.3.It was working fine but suddenly it giving an error of Login Failed.

I am entering right password.

Please have a look on below error in agent.log file:

[scc-ui-14] - javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Inbound closed before receiving peer's close_notify: possible truncation attack?

Please suggest.

i met this before but with 2 situation

1. the smpAdmin has been tried with wrong password more than 3 times, and it will be locked in the next 10 minutes. after 10 mins, it will be unlocked automatically. in this case, log in after 10 mins and it will be successful

2. no idea what happened, i just restarted the server again, and it worked

Do we have any permanent solution of this problem???Because it give Login Failed even when i am entering right credentials

hi Rohit,

i dont know what kind of situation you met.

if it's caused by the lock down, you could add user in smp as another administrator. once you meet the same case, use another user to login

if not the lock down, the only way occur to my mind is to restart server

Hi Rohit,

I am sure you would have checked but just want to confirm:

1. Are you opening the SCC in the same machine where SMP is installed?

2. If you are trying it in different machine,  are you able to ping that smp system?

Hi Jitendra,

I have installed SCC and SMP on the same machine.And i am opening SCC on the same machine.

It is pinging successfully from SMP.
