Creating Rebate volume conditions

Hi All,

I need some help on creating a rebate condition based on volume and scales:

The business requirement is as follows:

Customer must achieve a minimum threshold and the rebate will be paid \ settled on the volume over and above the threshold e.g.

0 to 100 HL = $10

101 to 200 HL = $15

201 to 300 HL = $20

301 to 500 HL = $25

The Customer achieves 254 HL

Customer gets the first 100 HL at $10 per HL = $1000 and the second 100 HL at $15 per HL = $1500 and the 54HL at $20 per HL = $1080. The total rebate adds up to $3580 + GST

Thanks

Clive

Hi clive,

as u know we maintain the rebate condition record in VBo1,

which condition type ur using for rebate.

goto Tcode: V/06. select ur rebate condition type

in

Scales view:

Scale basis- "F" Volume Scale

Scale type: - " D" Graduated -to Interval Scale.

Now the system calclates based on intervals scale.

thorugh this scale type u can solve ur issue. I worked and got the desired solution .

am sure it will solve ur problem.

*Rewards if it helps.

Hi ! Clive,

Here the entry in Scale type would be 'D' which says it a graduated interval scale, would be of your help.

And I am just curious about what does the unit of measure HL would mean?

Regards,

HI clive,

its very simple,u have to maintain rebate agreement in vbo1 for ur volume rebate type and apply scale basis as 'F' and scale type as' from and to' and maintain below mentioned example record .so that system picks up 3580$ once he meets 254 HL target

PLEASE REWARD IT HELPS CENT%

Thanks, but when you do the settlement will SAP know how to calculate based on break down. For example if the customer only reaches 200HL. SAP will know to calculate the first 100HL. i.e. must use the first scale which is 0 - 100HL = $10 and then for the remaining 100 HL use the second scale which is 101 - 200 HL =$15
