Information Steward 4.2 SP1 data lineage?

I'm planning to install IS 4.2 SP1 + DS4.2 SP1 and IPS 4.1 SP2 on windows 2008 server.

We have a BI 4.0 SP4 environment up and running on separate Windows 2008 server(s).

My question is will I be able to use new lineage feature on my BI 4.0 SP4 environment after installing and configuring the remote job server on BI 4.0 server or it only works with BI 4.1 release onwards?

Can’t find this anywhere so need help from experts...
