Problem in LaunchPad Fiori

Hi All,

My LaunchPage is working fine ---

/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/launchpage/admin/admin.html

/SAP/BC/UI5_UI5/UI2/LAUNCHPAGE/HOME.HTML

( I have SAP_UI2_LAUNCH_PAGE role which is assigned to User for LaunchPage)

When I tried to access the LaunchPad I couldn't able to add tiles in my catalog.

( I don't have any Standard role which can be assign to user for LaunchPad).

/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html

/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html

Please help me on this issue.

SAP_GWFND 740 04

SAP_UI 740 05

IW_PGW 100 03

SRA017 600 00

Hi Babu,

I see you have old UI package. Please install new UI package.

SAP_GWFND 740 04  - SP06 is available.

SAP_UI 740 05 - SP07 is available

IW_PGW 100 03 - SP05 is available

SRA017 600 00 - SP03 is available

UISRA017 100 00 - You have installed old UI. Please refer SAP Fiori - Add-on quick reference for transactional apps.

Important Note: Please use new SAP Fiori Launchpad

For clarification abt UISRA017 100 00.

Can you please specify the required component for Create Sales Order app.

I tried searching for component UIX01EAP but no luck..

Hi Babu,

I think you have not followed Fiori install guide properly.

Please follow section : 2.6.1.2 Add Apps to the User's Home Page

Do you mean to say that you don't have any standard roles to be assigned in PFCG ?

Correct me if I am wrong because we generally assign app specific roles from PFCG and give respective authorization and User assignment. Once done, your application tile will automatically appear in the homepage url, if accessed by the same user which is configured for the app.

1. In your SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, call transaction PFCG (Role Maintenance).

2.Assign users to the predefined launch page role for your SAP Fiori application.

For eg : My Leave Requests - SAP_HCM002_HCM_LVRQ_CR

Bellow are the role which I have already assigned to user.

SAP_SRA017_SD_SO_CR is the role for my App(Create Sale Order).

The role is SAP_SD_BCR_FIELDSALESREP_X1.

Hi Babu,

I dont see S_RFCACL role to the user.

Make a copy of this role and assign it to Z role  and provide full access, and you need to assign in to one role template ,

When you enter the authorization maintenance for the role, use the role template /IWBEP/RT_MGW_USR and it should contain S_SERVICE, S_RFC, and S_RFCACL

Assign this role to the user in backend as well as Gateway.

Also , please upgrade your UI components in GW and SRA in backend as suggested by Masa to latest level .

I don't find this role (SAP_SD_BCR_FIELDSALESREP_X1) in PFCG.

But as you said earlier. I have installed new UI packages.

Hi Masa,

As you suggested we have upgraded our system as following,

SAP_GWFND 740 - SP06

SAP_UI 740 - SP07

IW_PGW 100 - SP05

SRA017 600 - SP03

Only this UIX01EAP component is not available.

We raised this to SAP.

When i assign this(SAP_LUMIRA_TCR & SAP_SD_SO_CRE_APP) role to user. I got Lumira Catalog in my launchpad and i could able to  Create 'App Launcher – Dynamic'.

I navigation i kept my app URL and its work now.

Similar how can i get catalog role?

Your suggestion will be really helpful for you.

Hi Babu,

You will get roles by installing the UIX01EAP.

4. Submit a request for software download if you can not find the components

If add-on components are not visible with your user ID, you should submit a request form. All customers can download software after request.

If you have difficulties or questions for submitting request, please contact your regional contacts in the request form.

Just check whether your user have the below mentioned role authorization

SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700

SAP_UI2_ADMIN_731

SAP_UI2_LAUNCH_PAGE

SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_CONFIG

SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_CUST

SAP_UI2_PAGEBUILDER_PERS

And then check whether you are able to add tiles to your catalog.
