Iam able to generate alerts using standard Alert configuration.
In our environment , we have different namespaces for different scenarios.
Now based on the error message, we need to categorize the mail to specific receipients.
As I browsed through forums, I have got SALERT_CREATE rfc.
But I didnot understand How to use that.
Could any one helpout of it.
Hi Laitha,
From my point of view the Indrajit suggestion is a good option and very ingenious as well. On the other hand, you can try to use a ccBPM to customize your email receiver as Michal Krawczyk explains in his blog

Hi
In that case you can not use component based alert. The standard alert mechanism does not provide any mechanism by which we can call a recipient information.
Also the function module, SALERT_CREATE can only helpful for alert message generated during mapping steps since you need to call it inside mapping.
In other words either you can not use a separate email group only for FTP server related issues, JMS queue related issues.
Only one option is there but I am not sure how feasible that would be
1. Send all the alert email to a generic email user.
2. create one more scenario MAIL to MAIL
3. Sender mail adapter will pick up the mail, use mail package in sender and receiver mail adapter and use mapping to read the mail content and decide the target email based on the conditions.
Hi,
Now based on the error message, we need to categorize the mail to specific receipients.
do you mean adapter and integration engine errors?
like sending adapter errors to some persons and integration errors to others.
