Dates concept

Hi ALL,

I am new to SAP PS i want to know the concept of dates

I know the types i.e Basic, Forecast and actual dates

When i have wbs elements and i assign dates to each wbs element manually and then to to cj20n and try to

edit-> dates -> schedule and use bottom up planning the dates assigned manually changes automatically

My question is on what basis is this happening is it based on the start and finish dates assigned in the project definition

When i have internal activity assigned to one of the wbs element and try to do confirmation using cn25 by assigning the network id it shows error that the network is already being processed .

SAP GURU's please help

There r lots of threads available please search and come with specific questions.

and regarding Scheduling the system performs on the basis of the scheduling parameters that are configured in project systems.

and regarding the error this will come when the network is opened in another session or being processed by another user.
