SAP Error while login to SAPGUI after System Restore

Dear Experts,

I have restored the SAP Backup successfully ,my SAP instance & oracle is running but when i am login to SAPGUI its throw the error.

SAP SYSTEM Message: Syntax error in program SAPMSSY30.

Hi Sudarshan ,

1. Could you please check if SAP system is up .
check with command " dpmon " or if it is on windows then try " SAP MMC " & confirm if all the work process are in " WAIT " mode .

2.  Try R3trans -d from <sid>adm & check if it returns 0000

3. Also please try to take a full restart of SAP system & cleanipc too .

Hi Sir,

I have run all the command you have mentioned but same error  is showing.

1.In SAP MMC : al WP are in waiting mode.

2.Run r3trans -d command & its finished in (0000)

3.Restarted

Hi Sudarshan,

Depends on your OS,DB and sap release you have to apply latest kernel and please  check PAM also.

EHP6 is not supported with 740 kernel. 720_EXT and 721_EXT kernels are supported with EHP6.

If your system is up and running then some issue b/w your system and server.

You are providing the logs from the 13 of March.

Stop SAP and restart the Windows machine.

Start SAP and provide the latest trace files.

Hi

740 kernel has different method of connecting SAPSR3 with database .

You will have to follow these notes thoroughly -

1622837 - New connect method of AS ABAP to Oracle via SSFS

1611877   Support for ABAP SSFS during database connect

Also clarify which version you are in SAP .

hi Sudarshan,

Please follow the instruction of these note. It should resolved the issue because the current SAP EHP of your system is not supported with kernel 720.The 720&721 Extended Kernel are supported to you system. So, Please upgrade the kernel

Hi Sudarshan,

From the dev_wo logs it can be see that kerne 720 is not supported for your SAP system.

Please upgrade your kernel to latest available which should be 720_EXT or higher.

Note 1591607 - SAP Kernel for SAP_BASIS releases 7.03 and 7.31
